can we apply for a visa in zurich?

Question

My husband, son and I are planning a two-week trip to China in March.  We live in Canton Vaud, but my husband travels weekly to Zurich for work.  Can he apply for and pick up the visas in Zurich?  This would be most helpful to us.  Thank you.

Hi, Chinese consulate in Zurich only accepts applications from Aargau, Appenzell Ausserhoden, Appenzell Innerhoden, Glarus, Graubunden, Luzern, Schaffhausen, Schwyz, ST. Gallen, Zug, Thurgau, Zurich, Principality of Liechtenstein Anyway, if your husband can provide proof of residence or work permit for Zurich, application for his visa there may be acceptable.
