About:Chinese Embassy in U.K.

Travelling by rd from Thailand , can I get visa at border to visit China for a day

I am going to see my daughter and would like to see border town in china and would like to get visa at the border

No, it is impossible to get a visa at the border, you need to apply in advance through Chinese embassy or consulate.
