About:Chengdu Attractions

Is February a good month to visit Sichuan?

We are taking a trip for 9 days to Chengdu, Jiuzhaigou, Mt. Emei, Lesha in February; is it cold? We will be visiting Cheng du first, and would like to know "things to do" there. Thanks.

Hi, it is ok to travel Sichuan during Feb. The latest weather reports show that the average temperature will be around 12C. To take along thick sweater and an overcoat is suggested. At the beginning of the month, it will rain a little, so bring simple rainy gear.

Upon your arrival, Panda Breeding and Research Center and Three-Star Piles Museum (Sanxingdui Museum) are recommended. You can also wander at Jinli Street to enjoy yourself. The street is full of with a strong leisurely ambience.
If there is time left, Chunxi Road is suggested. It is a well-known pedestrian in the city. You can find many local snakes there.
