About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

Can one work in China/obtain Z visa if one is HIV positive? (question is pertaining to a US citizen)

This question relates to a highly specialized job. The employer (based in the US) is hoping to send an employee over for approximately one year. The employee is HIV positive.

Hi Jude, medical check is required when your employer applies work permit for you. Although China canceled the ban of entry with HIV positive, the fact is that this may affect the issuance of work permit.
