Filipino citizen with Japan valid visa

My family will visit China for five days this August 2013. We are Filipino citizens with long-term resident Japan visa.

Do we need a visa to enter China? What is the process and the requirements?

We live in Shimonoseki City, Yamaguchi Prefecture.

Thank you.

Visa is required. To apply in Japan, you should do this through a travel agency. Documents are your passport, application forms, photo, residence visa for Japan, rounf-trip ticket and hotel reservation. processing at the embassy/consulate takes 4 working days.
