Visas for American military and spouse

Hello, My husband works for the US military stationed in Korea. Is it possible for us to get individual tourist visas? I also work for an international NGO. We would not be traveling for business though, just visitors. We both have 6 months left on our passports and I have an alien registration card.
Thank you.

I heard that applicants in South Korea have to apply for the visa through the appointed travel agencies, but the policy changes from time to time. You may contact the embassy directly to have a direct confirmation.
