will the shopping placesattractions in beijing be open from jan.18-24?

Hi, I will be travelling there on the 18th January 2013 untill 24th jan 2013, can you tell me if most of the shopping places are open and also the tourist attraction places.Are there any public holidays during this time.I will only be staying in beijing for 3 days and move on. Is there a lot of muslim eating places there?.Is it just cold there or is it snowing as well,or when is the best time to visit china.Thanks

It is will be cold for  these days, you can go to the WangFuJing stree to shopping , it is very famous place

Most shopping pkaces abd attractions are open at that time. There will be no public holiday during that period.  You can easily find muslim restaurant there.  It is very cold and dry. As for snowfall, you need to pay attention to the weather forecast.  Actually, April~May and October~November are the best time tovisit China.
