Can pay cash for F visa?

Hello. I am going to the Chinese Embassy in Jakarta, or possibly their consulate in Surabaya in a day or two for an F-visa. I understand the fee is US$130, but I want to know if I can pay cash. I don't have a credit card because I don't like them, and as far as I know money orders and personal checks do not exist in Indonesia. FYI, I am an American citizen who has been residing in Indonesia. Thank you.
