About:Beijing Travel

A visit during Spring Festival in Beijing.

Hi! I will be there and would like to visit AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE of this beautiful province from February 8 to February 18th. Is it a CRAZY time to travel? Do you recommend any attraction in particular? THANK YOU!

Well, it can be a good choice to travel there and you can enjoy many interesting activities. Apart from the special Spring Fetival actvities, you can go to the Forbidden City, Summer Palace and Beihai Park.

Thank you, but I don't know why it was posted here, I actually want to go to Yunnan during Spring Festival. I am now in Beijing and would like to know the best way to get to Yunnan and what do there.

From Peking to Yunnan, to take the direct flight to Kunming is suggested.

You can go to Lijiang, Shangri-la and Dali to enjoy yourself by various ethnical wonderful activities. Actually, the Spring Festival there will leave you an umforgettable memory.

Maybe the Spring Festival there will be very interesting, but trust me, you will feel very hard to travel from Peking to Yunnan. Too many Chinese people go home for the festival so that the transportation will be very hard to catch, let alone you will head for one day ahead of the Spring Festival. I was in the same case with you in 2010, and I was trapped by the crowded transport for incredible 10h or longer.
