About:Chinese Embassy in Vietnam

I want to visit my son in China from Hanoi

I arrive in Hanoi in two weeks on a VN tourist visa and I want to visit my son teaching in Hangzhou. I am US citizen. Will I be able to obtain China visa at the Hanoi China embassy?

Hi, you can apply for a Chinese L visa in advance in US. It is very difficult for you to get one in Vietnam if you are only a short-time visitor. A single entry China visa is valid for 3 months from issue date, so it is ok to apply now at your convenience.
