About:Chinese Embassy in South Korea

I have been teaching in Korea for five years and am going home to New Zealand via Europe.

As I will have finished my contract, my ARC will be expiring. I have a 14 hour stop-over in Shanghai on my way to Europe, so can I get a visitor's visa for this period?

Hi, you are exempted from visa for transit in Shanghai if the stopover is less than 48 hours. You can go out to the city as well during transit.
