most appropriate way to get to luohu area of shenzhen from gongbei area in zhuhai

hi, will be staying in gongbei district in zhuhai and am planning to proceed to shenzhen for another short trip. have booked a hotel in luoho (lao jie area). would greatly appreciate if you could advice on what will be the most appropricate way to get to lao jie/luohu area of shenzhen from gongbei area in zhuhai pls.would it be by bus or ferry? how to get to the bus/ferry from gongbei area? *a detailed description will be greatly appreciated)

You can go to the Gongbei Bus Station to take the free bus to reach Jiuzhou Port where you can find the ferry for SZ. You take them to reach Shekou Port of SZ and then you can take the Shekou Line to reach Grand Theater Station and then change to Luobao Line to reach Laojie Station. Getting out of the station, you may find your hotel.Good luck with you.

Hi Alice,thank you very much for the info. sorry to trouble you, would need more help from you - any idea how long will the bus take from gongbei bus station to jiuzhou? if i were to take a taxi from yuehua road, will it be very far/expensive to gongbei bus station or to jiuzhou port?is shekou line near shekou port? or how to reach the shekou line? if i were to take a taxi from shekou port to dongmen (commercial street), will it be very far/expensive?thank you very much! :)

Hi, it takes within 20min from Gongbei to Jiuzhou Port. Actually, it is very near from Yuehua Road to Gongbei Bus Station. You can walk there and If you take a taxi, it only costs within 10RMB. You are right that the Shekou Line is next to Shekou Port. Actually, there is a MTR station named Shekou Port MTR Station. The taxi fare from te port to Dongmen Commercial Street is 80RMB or around.
