Malaysian visiting Sanya. What visa is appropriate?

Me and my wife have plan to visit Sanya in Juny 2023, through our own hotel booking n own flight arrangement? What is the most appropriate visa or regulation that i should adhere to. Me and my wife last visted Haikou in 2018, which i did applied for visiting visa at China Embassy in Malaysia. Thank you.

For tourism, only tourist visa can be applied. But they are not available yet after covid, which means China has not opened its border to tourists yet. Sorry for that:(
