About:China Tourist Visa

Which Visa is appropriate in my situation?

I have visited China several times since 2013, on tourist visas.
In 2016, I met a Chinese lady and we developed an ongoing relationship.
I had been given 12 month Travel visas on a few occasions.
I was given a 12 month Travel Visa in Dec 2019, but had to return home in Feb 2020 for an unexpected personal matter..
So I have only seen my lady friend via Wechat for a bit over 3 years now.
I have been waiting for the rules to change so I can go back.
I am preparing to apply for a new visa but dont know whether to apply for a Tourist visa or go using a Letter of Invitation.
I really want to get a 12 month visa, like on previous occasions.
I tried phoning the Visa Cenre but they dont answer the phone!
Im not sure if it would be a positive or a negative to mention my our relationship.
We have been a (unmarried) couple for about 7 years now!
Because of the effect of covid, her business sales have reduced quite a lot, so I am the primary provider for the family....2 children, one in high school and one in University.
Do you have any advice for me?

It's possible for you to get the same visa as before and it helps mentioning the relationship with that China lady. What also help are your old China visas.

You may also think about applying for a China Private Visit Visa (S) which has a longer duration of stay for more than 180 days.
