Question

Hi,

We will stay at TST and planning a day trip to Victoria peak but would like to do some sightseeing before we go up the hill after lunch to see the day and night view. Planning to take a ferry from TST to North point;
-which pier do we go
-how much it cost
- how long the ride
* is there anything interesting at North point to visit ?

From north point we plan to take the old tram to causeway bay to visit time square and walk to Wan Chai to see the toy street, do you know what time the toy street open ?

From Wan Chai we plan to take old train to Sheung Wan to look for some souvenir and antique and then walk back to Central.

Plan to take the escalator ride/ soho and come down by bus, s=which n=bus to take and how much ?

Plan to have late lunch around central area before we take a tram to foot hill of victoria peak. Any suggestion for a local tim sam place which is reasonable in price ?

Is there any other interesting things to do in HK island before we go up to the peak ?

Sorry so many questions.

Thanks

Yes, you can certainly go and take a ferry to the North Point at Star Ferry Terminal near TST. The whole journey takes about 20min and the fare is about 6.3 HKD for adults and children get half discount.
You can visit the surrounding buildings and Tianhou Temple near North Point to experience the HK distinctive street for the common people. After visiting, you can walk to Quarry Bay to take subway Island Line and get off at Causeway Bay, where you can have a good shopping, also for toys. Afterwards, wandering around, you can gradually walk to Wan Chai. It is also a good place for shopping and you can also find the delicioud Tim Sam there.

After that, you can also take Island Line to Central, where you plan to have your lunch. Then you can walk to the Garden Road to take the Peak Tram to view the Victoria Peak. In the afternoon, you can go down the peak and go to the Victoria Bay to enjoy the colorful shows.

Since you stay at TST, the Night Market, Mong Kok and Avenue of Stars cannot be missed.
