bullet train guangzhou to shenzhen finishing hong kong

Question

I am in Canton and travelling back to Hong Kong in a few days but would like to catch a bullet train. I understand I can catch the train from Canton East but what do i need to do once I arrive in Shenzen. Is the Train to Hong Kong in the same station as where the bullet train arrives and is thate where I do passport control? Thankyou.

Hi, dear. You will arrive at Shenzhen Railway Station which is close to Luohu Border. You need to clear customs at Luohu Border. After passing through the border, you will get into HK. Then you can take the HK MTR East Rail Line to the downtown area of Kowloon, Hong Kong.
