booking confirmation from a travel agency in china and roundtrip tickets be enough for applying visa

Hi. I will be travelling alone and working on getting an invitation letter from an Authorized travel agent since i cant provide a bank certificate. But as of the chinese travel agency policy, they said that they could not issue an invitation letter for single travellers. So, They will be giving a booking confirmation instead. Do you think this booking confirmation and my roundtrip airline ticketos would be enough to apply for the chinese visa? Thank you.
