can I bring shampoo into china that has some alcohol compounds in it?

Hi, a friend told me she got in trouble for bringing hand sanitizer into China that had alcohol in it. The shampoo (I have coloured hair and I was told the water in China will make it turn green, so I got a shampoo from the shop that is supposed to protect it from it) I want to bring has some alcohol compounds in it and I'm freaking out now that I'll get into trouble as well if I bring it. Thanks for your help.

You can take the shampoo into China. If you can treat your shampoo as your cosmetic which is worth less than 5000 RMB, you just need to declare and do not have to pay. If not, you have to pay the duty.
