Chinese visa for australian in hong kong.

I read that you can receive a Chinese visa at the hong kong airport? Is this correct? Does the 30 days in china begin then? Or if fly immediately out of hong kong without china, will my 30 days begin when I enter china at a later date (within 3 mtgs)

Hi, as I know, you can apply for a China visa through a travel agency which offers service for visa application within HK internation Airport. It takes few hours only. You can also apply in person through the Commissioner's Office of the Ministry of China Foreign Affairs in HK, it may be cheaper. 30 days duration begins only when you enter mainland China.
