About:Chinese Embassy in South Korea

visa to China from Korea or HK?

I'm an American in Korea w/no time left on my work visa. I have never visited China before.

1) Is there any way for me to go to Shanghai directly from Korea?

2) If I can't go to Shanghai directly from Korea, would it be possible to go to Hong Kong before arriving in Shanghai.

Thanks!

First of all, you can contact a local travel agency for the latest requirements, I have a friend who get his visa to China with ARC valid for 3 months through a travel agency there.
If you can not get a visa in South korea, you can apply in HK.
