About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

1 year multi entry L visa. do I have to leave every 60 days? why?

I am confused. I have an American passport and have been in China for about three weeks. Mine is a multi entry tourist visa for one year. It says that my duration of each stay is 60 days. Why is this, and does it mean that I MUST leave the country every 60 days?

Yes, you have to exit China every 60 days, since the duration of each stay on your visa ia 60 days.
