About:Best Time to Visit China

China weather in Jan-Feb 2013

Hi, me and my boyfriend is planning to go to China on mid January to mid February. However, I'm reading that it will be too cold. I'm planning to visit Tiger Leaping Gorge, Xi'an aside from the the main cities. Also, is it difficult to go around during the Chinese New Year? Would you suggest that we just re-schedule our trip some other time?

Thanks!

I advise you to arrange your travel to April, 2013. Generally speaking, the April is the spring time in most places in China, and the temperature is becoming warmer and warmer. It will rains little at that time. At that time, Chinese people just finished their trip in the Spring Festival and start to work.
Jan-Feb is the coldest period in China and it will meet the traffic rush hour in a year in China, for most people will go back to home at that time.
