australian passport holder apply china visa in dubai.

Question

Im holding australian passport. but i also have residence visa in dubai. What i need be prepared for applying china tourist visa?  i know back in the australia i only a filled china visa application form, passport photo and passport. i got no idea about how to apply in dubai. can you please help me. In Dubai, besides what you mentioned above, you also have to provide your residence permit in Dubai, two-way air ticket and hotel reservation in China. I heard that some oversea China embassies and consulates also requires an invitation lettfer from a China travel service. Thus, you'd better contact the embassy there directly to know about the truth.
