tourist visa (us citizen)

Question

Hello, there is a group of us that would like to travel in Oct.  A few of us are US citizens that work for the US government (not as military) and we currently reside here.  A few others are also US citizens, military members.  Are we able to apply through the Frankfurt office?  If so what are the procedures and about how long does the process take?

I am not sure if you have long term German residence permit to apply there since you are non-EU passport holders. But you can have try to submit your application to the consulate in Frankfurt if you all reside in Nordrhein-Westfalen, Rheinland-Pfalz, Hessen, Baden-Württember or Saarland. Once the officer accept your application, the processing takes 4 working days, and also they provide express and rush service. BTW, all your applications can be handed into the consulate by one person of your group if others do not want to go in person. You can call the office at 069-75085534 during 15:00-17:00 on Tuesday or Thursday.
