Cost of water and food in Bejing, Shanghai, Hong Kong and Guilin?

What does a bottled water cost in Bejing, Shanghai, Hong Kong and Guilin? And what is the avarage price of a meal in these cities? it is for my budget (for 1 person, on a tight budget).

For a bottle of common brand water, it is 1 RMB in the supermarket in Beijing, but it is higher in the attractive spots. In Shanghai, it is about 2 to 3 RMB for a bottle of water. In HK, it is about 3-5 RMB in supermarket, but high in 24-hour convenience store. In Guilin, it is 1 RMB for a common one.
It is hard to say the average price of a meal, because the price depends on what you eat in these places. If you just eat at the small food stands along the street, it is about 15-20 RMB in Beijing and Shanghai. In HK, it is about 40-50 RMB. In Guilin, it is a little bit lower than that in Shanghai and Beijing.

1. Bottled water: In Beijing, Shanghai and Guilin, a bottled water costs about 1-2 RMB. In Hong kong, it may costs about 10 HK$ for three bottles. And you'd better not buy bottled water around or in the scenic spots as it costs much more.
2. Meal: The price of the meal depends. If you just wanna an ordinary meal, it costs about 20-30 RMB in Shanghai, Beijing and Guilin. In HK, it may cost about 50-70 HK$ per meal.

Hallo Annemie ,Koos here. I am in Baotou in Inner Mongolia its about 650km west of Beijing. When do you plan to visit China?
