inquiry about visa application to china.

Question

How do I apply for a visa as I live in Tasmania.  My husband and I are booked on a 11 day tour of China on the 11st of September 2012.  How soon can we apply?  The form I have downloaded is Form V.2011A but it wants to know the residential address of our stay in China.  Will the Hotel names supplied to me by the tour comapany be okay and is this the right form.   Do I just fill it out and post to St Kilda road, Melbourne along with our passports?  I have tried to ring but after 48minutes on hold I gave up.

A single entry China visa is valid for 3 months after issuance, so you'd better apply in July or August. Yes, V2011A is right and the hotel names to the form are ok too. Make sure read the Center's website first, they provide post application service. There are detailed requirements and procedure on the website too.
