can i extending my chinese visa while in china on a 3 month visa

You may apply for an extension of stay in China if you can provide necessary longer stay there, but you may only apply for another less than 30 days duration in China at most unless you have immediate family living in China2

Yes if you dont have any family living in china its not easy to get more that 30 days as I am married to my wife I got it extended just recently for 6 months and I can get it again after that expired as I have prove my family my and my wife.0
