Chinese Visa requirements on Return Ticket

Hi!

We are 2 students holding a Dutch and an Indonesian passport currently in China on a Student Visa. We are planning to travel to the Philippines in June, however, we only have a single entry visa for China. As it is impossible to get a new visa whilst in China we must get a new one in Manila. The school year will be over by the time we go back, therefore we need a Chinese tourist visa. My question is will it be possible to get a visa for China without a retour ticket as we will be leaving the country by train somewhere in July.

If you will reenter China after the visit to Philippines, you need apply for a new China visa in Philippines. However, there is possibility that your visa applications may be refused due to the conflict between China and Phi these days. So, if possible, you can make a visit to HK and apply there for a China tourist visa.
