To enter Hongkong from Canada and back from China with a canadian permanent residence card

My girl freind holds a chinese passport and a canadian residence card.
She intends to fly to China through Hongkong and back to Canada from China through Hongkong.
Both flights in/out from Hongkong airport.
Is it possivle for her to land to and depart from Hongkong just by showing her chinese passport and canadian permanent residence card? or would she need any kind of visia to enter Hongkong either from a flight from Canada or by ground or flight from China to Hongkong?
Thanks.

She can enter HK and be given seven-day visa, and when going back to HK from mainland sometimes the immigration officer of HK may ask for her flight ticket, because the regulation is she needs to leave HK to a third country and not mainland China (anymore).
