About:China Visa Exemption

Visa Exemption for 11hrs in Shanghai if we arrive on cruise ship?

Do we need visa for 11hrs in Shanghai if we arrive on cruise ship?There is exemption for people from 30 countries, they can go to the city for up to 48 hours and then continue journey.Is this some rule apply for cruise passengers?We have only short stop before we continue to Korea and Japan.What are the rules to obtain disembarkation card on the day of arrival ,what are the cost to them?

The 48-hour visa exemption only applies to the traveller by international flights. You have to apply for a China transit visa if you are by cruise. I never heard that there is a disembarkation card in China.
