Do I need a vis ato visit Hainan?

As a British citizen with a Qatar residense visa, I am thinking of visiting Hainan and have been informed I dont need a visa. Is this true?

Yes, it is possible for you to get a 30 days visa on arrival to visit Hainan, you don't need to apply for China visa in advance if you only visit Hainan.
