Can i entering HK from Guangzhou with China visa?

Hello, I am Malaysian and would like to enter HK through Guangzhou. what kind of document do i need to have if im just traveling for a day trip to HK?

If you hold a Malaysian passport, you don't need a visa to travel to Hk for less than 90 days for an entry in fact.
