About:Chinese Consulate in Los Angeles

Can I apply for chinese visa in USA?

Im going to USA within a few days. I have already booked ticket to china and wont have time to apply for visa in my home country due to being in the USA. Am I allowed to apply for a china visa in Los Angeles being a swedish resident? I can have all the document prepared and bring it with me to the US.

If it is possible, what do I answer in the supplementary visa Form V.2011B question D2.
What kind of visa or residence permit of this country or territory do you hold?
-Valid residence permit
-Valid visa
-None
Im on visa waiver, ESTA. Should the answer be None?

Can you provide the original and a photocopy of proof of U.S. residency, work or study, proof of residency in Los Angeles? If not, I'm afraid you will not be able to get the China visa there.

For the visa form 2011B, You may just fill it with your genuine info.

If you are on visa waiver to USA and you will stay there for several days only, I'm afraid it's hard for you to get a visa there.

My advice is try to contact the China Embassy in your home country before the trip to get some practical help.
