china tourist visa application

We are located in New Brunswick Canada and not near a consulate to take the application to. Would you recommend we mail everything or can a friend take it to the consulate for us?

You live in New Brunswick, so you should still submit your visa application to the China Embassy in Ottawa. But the Embassy does not accept any straightforward application sent by mail or courier.
