About:China Embassy in Thailand

How do I get a Chinese tourist visa in Bangkok?

I want to visit my daughter in Shenzhen, and am near Bangkok, Thailand. Can I get a tourist visa if I go to the Chinese embassy in Bangkok? How long would that take? How much does it cost? I am an American teaching in Thailand. Thank ou.

Yeah, you can apply for a China tourist visa from the China Embassy in Bangkok with the following documents:
1. Your original passport with more than 6 months validity and over 2 blank pages
2. Completely filled visa application form V2011A & the supplementary visa application form V2011B
3. a passport standard photo
4. invitation letter from your daughter in China
5. copies of your daughter's Chinese residence permit and her passport information page
6. your residence permit.visa or valid entry record in Bangkok
7. round-trip air ticket
