About:Chinese Embassy in Australia

can I travel from Australia to China for 9 days with only 4 months left on my passport?

I need to apply for a visa and want to make sure that I can get in and out of the country with only 4 months on my passport. I travel in March 2012

If you have obtained a valid China visa, it is possible for you to travel to China from Australia by holding a passport with only 4 months remaining validity.

If you have not obtained a valid China visa, a passport with at least 6 months remaining validity is required for China visa application.
