About:Chinese Embassy in Qatar

I am an Indian working in Qatar since last 11 years. I wish to visit China for sightseeing.

I have a friend in Shanghai and I will be staying in China for two weeks starting from 31st March 2012 to 14th April 2012. Please advise what are the formalities and how much would be the visa fee for Me, my wife & son (5 years old). Thank you.

You can apply for China visa at Chinese Embassy in Qatar, It costs US$ 30 per person for single entry visa. The required documents are:
1. applicant's passport
2. one applicant's passport photo
4. each applicant fill in visa application form V.2011A and V.2011B on computer, then print them out, you or your wife can fill the form for your son because he is not an adult.
5. applicant's Qatar residence permit (original and copy)
6. round-trip fligh tickets and hotel booking
7. A No-objection letter from your company stating your postion, salary etc.
