You have to register your marriage at the municipal Civil Affairs Bureau in the jurisdiction where the Chinese partner is registered on her or his hukou with the following documents:
1. Your Single Status Certificate
2. Your Birth certificate
3. Three official style photos of you togehter (it can also be taken at the bureau on site to make sure that the size of the photo meets the requirement)
4: service fee
5. Your Chinese partner's Household registration book (hukou)
6. Your valid Passport
7. Notarised translations in Chinese of all the documents from your side except the passport.
However, you must be of marriageable age according to the rule of China - man should be above 22 years and woman is over 20 years old.
