About:FAQ of Chinese Visa Application

Can we overstay by half a day?

We renewed my mothers visa and asked for it to go until feb.13th but they made it until the 11th and her flight is on the 12th in the morning. what can we do? Do we have to apply again? It is such a pain!

There are 2 options for you:
1. change the flight on 11th Feb, exit China on time
or
2. apply for visa extension on 8st Feb or 9th Feb, please show the flight ticket to prove that your mother really need to stay for one more day.
