Can Indian tourists apply for chinese visa from Hong Kong?

Hi,
I am an Indian citizen and will be in Hong Kong for a holiday. Is it possible for me to apply for a chinese visa while I am at Hong Kong? I want to visit Beijing.
If so, what are the documents required and how do I go about it?
