About:China Visa

I am a female 30 year old chinese citizen. I have been in the U.S. visiting my mother.

I just had a baby in the U.S. The baby (boy) is 2 months old. I have to return to China in February which is when my 6 month Visa runs out. My son has a valid passport. What kind of Visa or paperwork do I need to get done so he can come back with me to Beijing. I am staying in Florida. I know the nearest Chinese consulate is in Houston. Do I need to go there to get any travel visa/paperwork and if so, can I do this myself or does my 2 month old son need to be there in person. Also, do I need to go in person or can this be done through a business? Lastly, there is no father on the birth certificate (not married). Is this any issue with getting the needed paperwork for my son to travel back with me to Beijing? Thanks very much for any help with this issue.

If your son hold a valid USA passport, you need to get a China tourist visa for him so he can come back with you to Beijing.

You can go to China consulate in Houston by yourself to submit visa application, your 2 months old son doesn'tneed to be there in person. If you don't want to go to the consulate in person, you can entrust a visa agency or travel agency to do it for you.

you will face some problems if there is no father on the birth certificate. Now, just prepare all documents, your passport and your son's passport, fill in the visa application form V.2011A for yoru son, his birth certificate, his one photo.
