Indian citizen residing in Germany: is it possible to get a Chinese visa for business purposes?

Will the Chinese consulate in Munich be able to grant a Chinese visa for business purposes to an Indian national living in Germany?
I work for a German company with a branch in China, and foresee a few visits to Shanghai in the next year. What is the best way to obtain an appropriate visa for multiple short trips (1-2 weeks maximum each time)?
