If you can provide the original and a copy of your Malaysian permanent residence or work permit which should be valid for at least 6 months, you can apply for Hong Kong visa in Malaysia. It takes about 1 month for processing if the application needs to get the approval from Hong Kong Immigration Department, otherwise, it takes 4 working days.

Can you tell me the purpose of visiting Hong Kong?
