About:Chinese Embassy in Canada

Flying to Hong Kong via Bejing - do I need a visa?

Hello, I am Canadian, visiting HK for 10 days. My travel is via Bejing. I do not plan to leave the airport, do I require a visa? Thank you.

If you don't leave the airport transit area and the transit will be done within 24 hours, you don't need a China visa.
