Hello again :). My Chinese wife in Nanning went a few days to the Public Security Bureau and they told her this:
-------------------------------------------------------------8
".......You can enter tourist visa to Nanning. Then you go to the "immigration office" in the application "half year. " Because we just married was not a very long time, and, before you do not live in China for a long time, so you can only get six months. When you come to China to live much longer time, you can apply in one year, then two year, then three years. It is so reasoning.
When you are in the "half year" of the residence time expires, you do not need to leave China, you only need a few days in advance, to "Nanning's immigration office," continue "to apply......"
-------------------------------------------------------------8
So my question is:
I need to visit 2 months to help her with house, meet other relatives, family etc.
Do i ask on Visa application HERE in Australia for an extension of 57 days or enter China on normal 30 days and ask for extension at Nanning office? I ask urgently because as Plane prices were increasing i booked a plane for 57 day stay, and wanted to know correct words to ask at Australian Consulate Visa Office, any advice?
Thank you,
Robbie
