About:China Transit Visa

Travel to Australia, transit in Shanghai & stay in one night, Vietnam Nationality. Do I need visa?

If I want to get out of the airport, do I need visa? Thanks in advance.

No visa is needed if you have the connecting air ticket to the destination, stay in the airport transit area, and leave the airprot within 24 hours;
If you'll go out of the airport, a visa will be needed.
