About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

do I need a visa to go to China for 10days I have a Australian passport if so what kind of Visa

You need to apply for a China visa in advance through CVASC or consulate in Australia. Visa type should be based on your purpose of visit. If you are in New Zealand now, you can also submit your application to Chinese embassy or consulate in New Zealand.
