About:Chinese Consulate in Toronto

I am a Canadian Citizen but I was orginally immigrated from Hong Kong, China, how can I apply China Visa?

Dear officer,
I am a Canadian Citizen but I was orginally immigrated from Hong Kong, China .I notice that recently ,there are changes for applying visa to China. Now I have to provide my old passport with a china visa on it or I have to provide my Hong Kong identity card . Unfortunately ,I handed my old passport to the Canadian passport office when I apply for the new one without knowing I have to handed in my old passport. All my Hong Kong original documents has been lost. I only had my Hong kong highschool report card with my Chinese name on it. The only proof I had was I travelled to China in April 2008 and Oct 2008 ,I still had my ticket boarding pass with my name on it to prove ,which was flying from Toronto to China. In 2008 October , I was married in Nanjiang and my marriage certificate which has my name ,my picture and my passport number on it. I also had my bank exchange recepit in China to proof which showed my name and passport number on it.
I am very nervous because I already bought the ticket in Sept 10 2011 flying to Nanjiang to see my mother-in-law with my wife and the new baby. I hope you could give me some advice with it .
You assistance in this matter is very highly appreciated.

Mr.Mike, I understand your meaning, now, you can't provide the old Canadian passport with China visas or Hong Kong identity card, you can try to provide the ticket boarding pass with your name on it, marriage certificate with your name, picture and your passport number on it to prove that you have been China, when you submit visa application to China consulate in Toronto, you can enquire it.
