July is summer time, very sweltering. You could refer to my one-day experience in last week. In the early morning, you could go to the Lingering Garden(1.5 hours) and Shantang Street(40 minutes), both of which are located in walking distance from each other. Then, take a bus to Suzhou Museum (1.5hours) and the Humble Administrator's Garden (2 hours)in the afternoon. These two are neighbors.
Ps: it is very easy for you to find a time-honored restaurants here for lunch. If you are energetic, you could go to Guanqian Street for the most delicate local food.
