I am planning to go to Detroit from Beijing on July 9th. I need to know which terminal I have to be in because there is no record of this on my e-ticket from Delta. I'm going to be on flight DL 188 at 6:55 a.m. and am trying to decide how best to get there from my hostel in Dong Cheng district that morning. So my question is two-fold. First: am I correct in thinking that Delta flights go out of terminal 2? Second: how best can I explain to a taxi driver at 3 a.m. which terminal and airport I'd like to go to? (Keeping in mind I do not speak Chinese but can copy it into a notebook if needed.) Also, since I'm thinking about it: would it be easier to leave my hostel the night before and go to the airport and stay there until I have to leave for my flight? Any opinions and help would be great! Thank you for your help!

If you are holding e-tickets, please contact the ticket office to get which terminal yo will arrival at Beijing Capital airport, since you may arrive at different terminals by different air company's flight.  You can copy the exact address of Beijing where you will go on a piece of paper and show it to the taxi driver, and then you will be taken to the right place. No need to stay at the airport in advance to catch the flight, public trnasport in Beijing has been wel developed. You are also possible to book the airport seeing-off service from the hostel where you will stay or from a local travel service in advance.

According to wikipedia, Delta is Terminal 2 for its Tokyo, Detroit and Seattle-Tacoma flights. Unfortunately I can't remember what I was last time I flew on Delta, I think it was 2. In terms of transportation, Beijing public transportation is good, but it can't get you to the airport two hours before your flight if its 6:55am,as it looks like the first airport train leaves Dongzhimen at 6am.I have friends who have just camped out at the airport when they had flights that early.Below, the first three characters are for airport, and the T3.. is the characters for terminal, switch a 2 if you plan to go to terminal 2 instead of 3.
